I had never been able to answer this question, until I started practicing mindfulness. As I learned to be more aware of myself and the way I lived, I realized how often I had just allowed moment after moment to pass me by. But this isn't about stopping to smell the roses, or seizing the moments. This is about understanding how something as simple as paying attention can make such a profound difference to the way I inhabit this world. In each moment of being mindful, I feel as if life is giving me another chance to live again, and each time more skillfully, more wisely.
